Creative agency Space has appointed former J. Walter Thompson creatives Naz Nazli and Alex Ball as Creative Heads to work across the agency’s client portfolio which includes William Grant & Sons, Heineken, Arla Foods and General Mills.

Nazli and Ball, the creative team behind the latest TV campaign for Berocca, have over 20 years of experience working at leading creative agencies including BBH, CHI & Partners and Leo Burnett. The duo, who have won awards at Cannes, D&AD, Creative Circle, Campaign Big and Clio’s, will report into Greg McAlinden, Creative Director, and, along with McAlinden, will be charged with continuing to raise the agency’s creative profile and reputation.

The 35-strong independent agency, which grew its gross income by over 90% in 2016, provides its clients with a suite of creative services including advertising, digital, social media, shopper and experiential marketing. Space recently created a 60” TV commercial to support the global launch of the Glenfiddich Experimental Series and produced a virtual reality distillery tour for the whisky brand which is currently being activated across over 20 international markets. The agency has also been responsible for the prestigious Wimbledon brand experience since 2012 and delivered last year’s high profile UEFA Euro 2016 trophy tour across France. Space has recently been appointed by General Mills for whom they have just launched an integrated campaign for Nature Valley with a film featuring Johanna Konta, Britain’s No.1 female tennis player.

Naz Nazli comments: “Alex and I are excited to be joining such a creatively ambitious and hungry agency. We can’t wait to add to the disruptive and distinctive ideas that the agency is becoming known for.”

Greg McAlinden added: “We’re building a formidable team of multi-disciplined talent capable of meeting the creative needs of our clients. I’m thrilled to have attracted such high calibre creatives in Naz and Alex to Space and look forward to seeing the impact their ideas will have in transforming our clients’ businesses.”
