Creative agency Space is celebrating the launch of a magical campaign for Kiri and their WWF partnership, to help every child explore the power of wildflowers and discover how they play an important role in nurturing local biodiversity.
Children can discover the power of flowers by colouring in and collecting one of 4 in-pack illustrations and then watch their art come to life as a cartoon by photographing it and uploading it to the BlinkBook app. Their unique animation can then be watched and shared. Each one is enriched by specially chosen music and a narrator telling the story of each flower’s power – from their role as Pollinator Magnets, to Pest Control, Birds Breakfast and Shelter Providers.
The campaign is supported by social media – firstly with instructional posts, showing the step-by-step process of colouring, scanning the QR code, photographing the illustration and watching the animation come to life – and inviting user-generated content.
Secondly, by a series of ‘how to’ social content, showing how to protect biodiversity and encouraging kids to get planting wildflowers anywhere, whether they have a pot, a window box, a garden or community space.

Thirdly, a WWF educational video series introduces members of the WWF team & features ‘flower power’ in action through a series of nature clips and footage.

The campaign has launched in France and Germany and the DACH countries appearing on over 100m packs (x8, x12, 24s) and is supported by flower-powered point of sale, including eye-catching shippers, shelf-talkers and shelf-wobblers.
We are so proud to work with Kiri + WWF on this colourful and educational campaign with its mission to help biodiversity. Children and families can enjoy creating their very own ‘flower power’ animations whilst being inspired to take care of existing wildflowers or plant new ones. Its been a great pleasure to help unite this ecosystem to entertain and educate the next generations around biodiversity.David Atkinson, Managing Partner, Space
This is the latest in a series of campaigns with WWF for Kiri, and we are thrilled to have been able to find such a fun and creative way to connect children to the power they have to help biodiversity. By encouraging wildflowers to grow, our mission is to inspire children to care for, enjoy and celebrate nature around them. Flowers really do hold the power to make a huge difference. We believe that we have achieved something great together with Space and the innovative partnership with BlinkBook.Leila Bouaziz, Global Equity & Strategy Director, Kiri
